A Familiar Face….

After an early rise to climb, I felt very short on energy and struggled with stamina. We managed a few boulders from yesterday but managed to also lose a boulder, which we later found but still couldnt manage to complete. Rob accompanied us this time but mainly enjoyed the sunrise and attempted a couple of boulders but spent the rest of the time on his photography.

Later in the day, after a rest and another lemon nan we met up with Sarah who took us to a nice spot by a river where there was a small beach and a deep pool to swim in. We chilled, swam and sunbathed here for a while. On our way back we stopped at a local roadside restaurant (actually a small shack which looked like someone’s home) and Sarah ordered us some Dosa’s which are a type of pancake with spicy dips to accompany. None of us were overly impressed and Sarah agreed these were not typical of the dosa’s she had come to know and love.

This is a bike we saw propped up by the river…..
