Leaving the city for the country…

After over a month in Sydney I felt completely ready to get out of the city and into the countryside. I finally heard news of my job on the farm starting so booked my train and packed my belongings. The train journey at 7.40am on a Sunday, which included a replacement bus service for the first part wasn’t the most fun journey I’ve ever done and for some strange reason I didn’t manage to sleep much, if at all. Even though the train was LUXURY compared to the trains I have been on throughout my adventure. I arrived after lunch, was picked up at the train station and we headed to the farm. I met the family, the children, dogs, kangaroos and cat and settled in for the evening ready for the hard work to start tomorrow. I wanted to get my camera out as soon as I left the city and could see green again. This is the view out the back of the farm house and it reminds me of my back garden back home on the farm. I think i’m going to like it here.
